Thomas E. Brightbill, CMC
joined CGR after previously serving as partner-in-charge of KPMG Main
Hurdman's consulting practice in San Francisco. Tom also was a partner in-charge of Arthur
Young's (now Ernst & Young) Hawaii consulting group. He is a leader of CGR's public
sector, strategic planning facilitation, and quality training practices. Tom also has
extensive experience in the design and implementation of financial information systems. He
received a B.S. in chemistry and an MBA in management science from the Weatherhead School
of Management at Case Western Reserve University.

Peter A. Crosby, CMC
is a founder of CGR. Peter has twenty-eight years experience in all key
areas of supply chain management. He has twenty years of experience as a management
consultant with A. T. Kearney, Coopers & Lybrand, Arthur D. Little and CGR. Peter's
industrial management experience includes positions as a division general manager for
Collins Foods, a senior operations research analyst on the corporate operations planning
and analysis staff for Food Machinery and Chemical Company (FMC), and a spare parts
logistics and inventory analyst for Ford Motor. He received a B.S. in engineering from the
University of California at Berkeley and an M.S. in operations research from Stanford

J.
Keith Kennedy, Ph.D.
has more than twenty-five years consulting experience with more than 100
clients. Prior to joining CGR in 1986, Keith was Managing Director in Australia
for one of the UK’s “Big Four” management consulting firms. He also was Chief
Executive of a systems house for many years. Most of his consulting has been
based on his deep understanding of businesses, and the staff, processes and
facilities required to make business organizations great. His clients have
included finance, distribution, manufacturing, transport and construction
companies, professional offices and public sector organizations. He is expert
in business analysis, information technology, strategic planning, business

James E. Kennedy, MBA, MBCS
CITP
joined CGR in 1995 after five years in the financial industries practice for
Deloitte & Touche in the London office. He also has experience with Business
Research, an information technology firm. Jim has designed and installed
information systems for banks, securities companies, government agencies,
healthcare organizations, utilities, ports, manufacturers, and distributors. He
also has developed many corporate MIS strategic plans. Jim received a Bachelor's
of Science in engineering from the University of Manchester in England and an
MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA. He is a Chartered Information

Robert N. Rice
is a founder of CGR. Bob is a specialist in facility network planning
and supply chain management. He heads up the design team for the development and use of
SITELINK, a facility location and supply chain optimization model. He has conducted
studies in logistics and inventory planning, decision support modeling, materials
management, production planning, software selection, and productivity improvement. Bob has
experience as an officer of a beverage company in charge of all operations and planning
functions, as well as an internal financial and strategic consultant for a major
chemicals/fibers company. He received B.S. and M.S. degrees in chemical engineering from
Northwestern and an MBA from the Stanford Business School. Bob can be

William White, CMC
Bill has spent over 40 years consulting to clients
worldwide. He has had major leadership roles in five major consulting
firms, Buck Consultants, Price Waterhouse Coopers, CapGemini Ernst &
Young, Towers Perrin and The Hay Group. He began his consulting career
with Booz, Allen & Hamilton. In addition, he is a Certified Management
Consultant, has a Level IV Change Management Certificate, and has
published over 22 professional articles. He is currently at work on a
book, "Collaborative Network Management: The Next Major Value Paradigm
for Global Companies. He attended the McCormick School of
Architecture at Princeton University and received a Bachelor of Arts
Degree in English and Journalism at the University of Pittsburgh. Bill can be

B. Ayers, CMC
has extensive management consulting
experience with CGR and other leading management consulting firms. Jim's clients
include companies in the defense, aerospace, utility, electronics, health care,
chemicals, and service industries. The focus of Jim's practice is on supply
chain strategy, operations management, new product development and process
improvement. He is the author of three books and numerous articles. He received
a BS from the US Naval Academy (with distinction) as well as an MS in industrial
engineering and an MBA from Stanford. In the Navy, he served on nuclear

Craig M. Gustin, Ph.D., CFPIM, CIRM
is a founder of CGR and has twenty years consulting experience with
manufacturers, merchandisers, and service companies. His engagements focus on the
identification of clients' customer service and information systems needs. Craig also
conducts supply chain strategy projects. Prior to consulting, he held engineering and
marketing management positions in the automotive, defense, and information systems
industries. Dr. Gustin received a B.S. in industrial engineering from Purdue University,
and Masters degrees in engineering and business administration. He completed his Ph.D. at
Golden Gate University, with a dissertation focusing on logistics information systems.

Robert J. Gumaer
has served in executive positions for
software firms over a twenty-year period. As Vice President of Marketing for
SynQuest, Bob developed strategies to drive revenue growth exceeding 100 percent
per year for five years, and was responsible for sales training and rollout of
new supply chain software. With American Software, he was Vice President of
Marketing and Vice President of Asia-Pacific, and orchestrated American
Software’s re-positioning as a supply chain software vendor. He began his
software career as Product Manager with Walker Interactive Systems. Previously,
he was Director of Corporate Planning for The GAP Stores, a Senior Consultant
with Kurt Salmon Associates, and Analyst with Lockheed. Bob holds a B.S. in
Industrial Management from Purdue University, with post-graduate studies in
business. |

David R. Malmberg
has over twenty years experience in supply chain management, purchasing,
inventory, strategic planning, and information systems. Before joining CGR, he held the
positions of Vice President of Inventory Management, Purchasing, Strategic Planning, and
Director of Information Systems for a number of Fortune 500 distributors and
manufacturers including FMC, McKesson, Merisel, and AmeriQuest. In addition to operational
management experience, Dave developed and implemented a series of purchasing and inventory
management models, process improvements, and information systems at these companies. He
received a B.A. in mathematics and economics from Claremont College, a B.S. in industrial
engineering, and an M.S. in operations research from Stanford University. |

M.C. (Rink) Wheeler
joined CGR after over twenty years of experience in the food industry. For ten years,
Rink was Vice President of Operations for Coca-Cola Foods (Minute Maid orange juice). His
responsibilities included operations, production planning, and distribution. Rink also
headed up the corporate operations research group for CPC international. He has conducted
many strategic facilities location and manufacturing organizational planning assignments
as a consultant with CGR. Rink received a B.S. in chemical engineering from Purdue
University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. |
